In describing myself I say I am passionate, fun and health conscious.

Let me elaborate. I am passionate about family, love and life in general. I believe in being grateful for each day and for the things you have in life and even if I have ambitions to want more (such as in work or fulfilling my goals to live a healthy lifestyle) I never forget to be gracious for the things I already have.

Fun is so important in life-my definition of fun can be anything from taking a walk, working out, going to movies or watching one at home, playing wii, spending time at home, doing home improvement projects, playing video games online, riding bikes, cooking, traveling to near or far places, and of course the obvious spending time with family and friends. Of course there is more and mostly I am willing to try new things.

On the health conscious side of me, I in the past have not always taken care of myself- I put this out there as there is no reason not to put it out there. I have made significant changes in my lifestyle and what and how I eat and how much I exercise and it is paying off big time and I feel better than ever. But I am still overweight and take my weight loss goals and health very serious. I had to address issues in my life that made me unhealthy such as taking care of everyone else before myself and being an emotional eater and I was leading a sedentary life- but that is over and I want to become friends and maybe more with someone who wants to live an active healthy lifestyle. A good friend of mine said to me one day it is not the number days you live but how you live the life you have and they are totally right!

So in saying that, if you are a smoker, or only eat meat and potatoes or are closed minded about eating healthy (I am not a vegetarian) and are not open to a healthy lifestyle then we likely are not a good match. Now I am not a total prude I can kick back a couple of beers or have a couple glasses of wine now and again with friends but in moderation only. I do not go to bars as they are too smoky.

As for work, I am passionate about work and would expect my partner to have a similar passion (not that work is everything) I would say that I want someone to be successful- successful in what they enjoy doing and the only way to do that is to be good at what you do and enjoy doing it.

i like baseball,working out, and just about anything i can do for fun.the music i like is classic rock to metal.and if a girl with blond/black hair tells me to do something if i can do it i will. im self-sufficient, and i will apologize for this in advance if you ask me a stupid question you will get a stupid answer.i just moved so im short on friends so all i do is work , and go to the gym.

I am widowed November 2008, retired January 3, 2009, with all bills paid. Have family that does not live with me, plants that do, and trying to decide what is next. A vetran and long time church member, I am still trying to reorganize my life from the changes that have happened.

I'm having a difficult time summarizing myself, not because there is so much to fit in a little box, but because I'm still trying to figure out who I am. That sounds incredibly cliche but its true. I can't make decisions for fear of making the wrong one which often leads to an even worse situation. On a positive note, I am creatively inclined.
